Join us for the Chick-fil-A 5k to benefit the Freedom Alliance educational and charitable foundation whose mission is to advance the American heritage of freedom by honoring and encouraging military service, defending the sovereignty of the United States and promoting a strong national defense.

WHEN: Saturday September 8, 2012, 8 am

WHERE: The race starts and finishes at the Chick-fil-A at Dulles Crossing: 45440 Dulles Crossing Plz Sterling, VA 20166. Dulles Crossing Plaza is near Dulles Town Center and is accesible by Rt. 7, Rt. 28, and Rt. 267.

CHALLENGE THE CHICK-FIL-A COWS!: A 5k (3.1) mile race/walk accurately timed with the IPICO chip timing system by Potomac River Running. Come out and race the Chick-fil-A cows!

FREE SWAG: Pre-registered runners will receive a commemorative Nike Dri Fit T-shirt while supplies last!

TIME LIMIT: There is a 60 minute time limit to complete the 5k. One must maintain ~19 minute miles.

GREAT AWARDS: There will be cash awards to the top three overall males and females. ($300-$200-$100).  There will also be age group awards to the top 3 in the following age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & over.

A DELICIOUS POST-RACE: All of your hard work will pay off – Chick-fil-A will provide post race food for runners!

FREE MASSAGES: Runners can enjoy a free massage provided by Fast Track Physical Therapy. Designed to enhance athletic performance and recovery, the Fast Track team will use Sports Massage, Swedish, Deep Tissue & Neuromuscular techniques to help with improved blood flow to your muscles, reduction of scar tissue, and improved tissue elasticity and increased absorption of nutrients.

FREE PHOTOS: FREE high resolution race photos will be available  for download from the Potomac River Running Flickr page. So keep an eye out for our on course photographer and be prepared to strike a pose! We will send an email out notifying you when the pictures are ready to be shared.

RESULTS: Results will be posted to PRRaces.com within a couple hours of the event.
